Storm White

The Southwestern Youth Association (SYA) Storm White are a current U-11 WAGS select travel team coached by Jamie Rayner. Jamie is a full time professional soccer coach who has extensive coaching experience Jamie is a professional trainer with Soccer Academy and currently holds the USSF National B - license.

Jamie played soccer in his native England since the age of five, representing various travel teams as well as his school and his college teams as captain. He played multiple positions, and was both an experienced goalkeeper and defender. As a result of the value he found in cross-training in various positions, Jamie coaches the Storm with an emphasis on developing a complete player. Players are encouraged to develop an appreciation for and expertise in all positions and are rotated throughout the season to cement their awareness of how each position is a unique but absolutely essential part of an entire team as well as to assist them in developing the critical ability to quickly make good decisions on the field.  Soccer is a life long sport, and with our focus on teamwork and sportsmanship, the girls will acquire skills that will allow them to be successful on and off the field.
